We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Marketing Manager Customer Insights and Strategy.
Managing research requirements for the Global Business Lines, covering a wide range of areas including market and competitor benchmarking, proposition development, brand tracking and customer experience improvement
Collecting and evaluating all research data and insight to make clear recommendations and define key actions for the relevant stakeholders across the business to enhance future Marketing and Business activities
Provide an understanding of the customer and thorough focused research and the development of insight, helping to shape Marketing activity such as propositions, segmentation, servicing and communications
Identify opportunities to drive improvements in the customer experience and hence increase customer recommendation and client engagement
Work with global research agency partners for the execution of global research projects
Manage budget reporting
Develop and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of HSBC and market best practice
Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the application of Marketing policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance
University graduate in business studies with a background in marketing is preferred
Relevant experience in a marketing role, ideally has worked for a banking or financial institution
Proficient in data analysis, project management, advertising production and direct marketing with good commercial sense
A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Experienced in liaising with external business partners and suppliers
Possess computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Possess qualitative and quantitative research expertise, preferably hands-on experience on qualitative research
Possess prior experience and exposure in China, preferred, and has a good understanding of the China market and Mainland consumers
