The Ohio University Department of Marketing in the College of Business invites applications for one or more full-time, faculty position. Start date for the position begins August 14, 2017. The appointment is for a non-tenure-track Lecturer in Marketing.
The Department is seeking a student-centered, innovative faculty member with experience and interest in consumer behavior. Preferred candidates will also have experience and interest in digital marketing or consumer analytics. Candidates should have interest in teaching consumer behavior / consumer marketing at the undergraduate level as well as an interest in leading corporate partner, sponsored research projects with undergraduate students through the Consumer Research Center.
Faculty will be expected to primarily teach in-person on Ohio University's main campus in Athens, OH. Non-tenure track faculty typically have a teaching load of 7 courses per year.
Salaries for the appointment are competitive based on AACSB statistics and the candidate's credentials.
The Marketing Department is the home of the nationally ranked Schey Sales Centre and the recently launched Consumer Research Center. Undergraduate programs include a marketing major, marketing minor, and certificate in sales. The Marketing Department offers a variety of teaching opportunities at the undergraduate and graduate level.

A Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (e.g., Communications or Psychology) from an accredited program by the start date.
Candidates with professional experience and/or teaching experience in consumer behavior.
Experience in digital marketing or consumer analytics.
